This is 10 million more than just a year and three quarters earlier. Bush handed Obama the worst economy since the great depression.

By comparison, the net gain under Obama now stands at under 11.6 million — and the number leaving the food stamp rolls has accelerated lately.

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is actually proud of the fact it is distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.

But even that says something too. Costs have ballooned under Obama.
Basically his economic policy is to borrow money from the taxpayers of the future to pay people not to work now as answer to the destruction of their jobs due to his economic policy.

That $70 million figure is wrong (shocker), but either way, it doesn't change the facts, particularly the fact that the number of participants is declining, from my post.
