We're going to be making lots of stuff in America again too. This means lots of opportunities for idle labor to become useful again. It's going to be a great time to be in America again. No more watching a president shame his own country and people, or bowing to wimps. Trump is going to show us that it's ok to be proud of your country again. You no longer have to whisper praise of your motherland, fearing that a liberal might be offended by your praise.

Why do liberals hate the fact that America is going to be great again?
Good is a matter of point of view.

Firstly, I want to address your bordering on idiotic comment about capitalism. Neither of the two major parties support communism. I know morons, and I really can't stress enough the word 'moron' on this, think Obama is a communist, but if he is, he's a **** communist. Ideologically, he's more in line with Keynesian economics and could probably run as a Democratic Socialist, like Bernie, if we lived in a country with more than two options (freedom!! ), but in practice, he's a crony capitalist, which is still a capitalist and right wing system (and really, Democratic Socialism is generally in the center, and Keynesian economics is really just center right). Just like Hillary, a candidate who I considered to be more to the right than Republican Donald Trump as he's not doubt a capitalist, but he seems like, had the Democrats taken the Senate, he'd have had absolutely no issue agreed to have a better social safety net with them. Point being, if you really think capitalism was somehow in jeopardy, you're an idiot who just believes whatever delusional conservative pundit told you it was without even thinking. Crony capitalism isn't synonymous or even comparable to left wing economics, and we really don't have the left wing party in America, unless you count the Green party, which why would you?

As for jobs coming back to the state, we shall see. Until it actually happens, I could give a damn if Trump says it will. As all the delightfully mature posters on this forum point out every day on repeat as if they're clever and saying something new, Obama didn't really deliver on his hope or change. And much like Trump, Obama's overall lack of political experience makes it quite difficult to gauge how effectively he'd be able to follow through on what he campaign on. Contrast that to Sanders or Kasich, who've been in politics long enough to know what sort of things they vote for and what sort they don't. Agree or disagree with either, you can still get an idea of where you'll end up.

You're also wrong about trade work. Liberals do not hate trades workers. Neoliberals do, so adherents to the corrupt liberalism of Bill Clinton do often indeed look down on non-college graduates. But the surge of popularity in Bernie Sanders, a more FDR style Democrat, shows that the future of the Democratic party may very well, and in my opinion should, completely abandon the legacy of Clinton.

Really? You must be reading those Leftist Fake News sites.

I read that the Democratic Party is pretty much in shambles.
Under President Obama, Democrats have lost 900+ state legislature seats, 12 governors, 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats + a bunch of D-State posts. While the Coastal Elites were living the High Life - Middle America became the "Forgotten & left behind".

''Rot'' is rot and it comes just as much from the right as from the left.
The trouble is that stereotyping and blaming DO NOT work toward making things better for our country.
It is basically just whining and blaming and a waste of time and energy that could be better spent problem-solving.
But then some people just love to be haters and cause derision, division, and ill will because it makes them feel superior or powerful or something that is missing in their lives.
They need to get off their ''shame/blame'' pity stool and work for positive outcomes for our country.
Be part of the problem or be part of the solution.

Agree!!!

They (the left) can not stand the idea that they might be proven wrong. Even IF (and that may be a big IF) things improve for ALL Americans regardless of Race,Creed or Color they would denounce the Right. I cast my ballot for Mr. Trump for one reason... Because he was not a standard run of the Mill Politician. I see him as an outsider as much as I see Clinton as being a standard hack insider.. Washington needs to be purged. By that I mean purged of the people who have made politics a lifelong Job.

Did jeans cost $150 back in the days when they were sewn in the U.S.? But anyway, maybe we should manufacture more clothes in the this country again. Those would be good jobs for the tens of millions of poor folk from Latin America that we're committed to taking in. God knows what people are expecting them to do otherwise.

And then America will vote for a Democrat to clean up the mess, which we will, and then complain because a terrorist might not be able to get a gun or a woman wants an abortion because she was raped.

So many brainwashed people on this forum it is so scary. But they can shoot their gun, so all is good.
So you take objection to Trump promising jobs for people. But if you aren't for jobs, what are you for, exactly?

Because for many liberals, things are already great.

Are you aware that we already have labor shortages of people in various fields? It appears that people do not want to do the very thing you are suggesting, such as *GASP* learning new skills. If they wanted to learn new skills, they certainly could have done so, yet all we get is excuses as to why they can't.

And Trump certainly cannot force companies to pay higher wages and reverse a 40-year trend of lower wages due to corporate greed and the destruction of unions (why do you think unions came about in the first place?). His cabinet is loaded up with Wall Street guys.

Are you going to give Trump retroactive credit for a trend that started well before his term? (Yeah, I know Trump will attempt to take credit, as he does with everything but most will see through it, as the facts are out there.)

Why don't yall start another circle jerk thread praising Putin's violations of our democracy...
