All these said, they can criticize American policy all they want, but leave religion out of politics.
I agree.
BUT not everyone does. There are people who think that the reason Israel should exist is because God said so. This is troubling. This billboard is far from off limits, if you ask me. Given that there's a group on the other side using the Bible to back up their foreign policy positions, this billboard is quite tame by contrast.
Lol. Hitler was quite clearly a christian. Just because you don't like someone or their views doesn't make them any less a christian. Milo who is a homosexual claims to be a practicing catholic.....
There are a lot of gay Christians, nothing wrong with it.
Hitler was not a Christian. You can do your own research about it, you don't have to agree with me though.
Eleven years before he took power and 17 years before the gassings began, Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf that Christ was nailed to the cross in return for “his fight against the Jewish poison.” In other words, as a pretext to hate them, Hitler said the Jews killed Jesus.
Hitler is not even a Christian. He was a horrible monster who had absolutely no compassion towards human life.
Hitler, borrowing from socialist icon Karl Marx, said that all Germans must “free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let’s be the only people who are immunized against the disease.” Marx, a hero to the secular socialist left, famously called religion, “the opium of the people.”
Hitler a Christian? No chance.

Agreed and, Jesus WAS a "Jew". Funny have the "Christian" Jew haters gag when called out on JC being a Jewish dude.
I don't see them manipulating anything just presenting the facts as they are. Of course some people will complain about their version of the facts its bound to happen with any subject
But they are not presenting the "facts" as they would be for Joseph and Mary traveling to a walled Bethlehem. They would not be prevented from entering the city, as they belonged there.

I assume the billboard that was used was done so because it was Christmas time.
No.
Hitler, based on his writing in Mein Kampf and various other writings, was skeptical of religion but reconognized its influence on politics. His father was considered anti-clerical (anti-organized religion) and his mother was a practicing Catholic. Although he was baptized Catholic as a kid and never officially left, most historians agree that he became hostile to religion, especially Christianity, towards the end of his life.
In Mein Kampf Hitler made clear he was in favour of separation of church and state. Officially, the Nazi party endorsed what it termed "Positive Christianity" which stripped the Christianity of its Jewish origins, set up Hitler as a messianic figure, and did not require the belief in the divinity of Christ.
In practice Hitler's regime persecuted the churches, and worked to reduce the influence of Christianity on society. Hitler may have been reluctant to make public attacks on the Church for political reasons, but encouraged his inner-circle of anti-church radicals such as Himmler, Goebbels and Bormann to lead Nazi persecutions of the churches. According to the Goebbels Diaries, Goebbels wrote in 1939 that Hitler is "deeply religious, but completely anti-Christian", and in 1941 that he "hates Christianity".

Lol. I am not even a christian and I know what the bible says about homosexuality so....we certainly disagree.
well, Hitler was not a Christian.
LOL I am a CHRISTIAN, and I have no problems with gay Christian or Christian soldiers. Christian is simply, Christ like. That is the definition. If a Gay is Christ like, he can certainly be a Christian, maybe a better Christian.
Hitler was strongly influenced by the anti-Christian philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. This influence shows in Hitler’s private remarks on religion, as related by surviving associates. Hitler described Christianity as an “absurdity,” “an invention of sick brains,” and so forth. It’s interesting to note that Hitler spoke of religion using many of the same terms as modern-day misotheists ; yet some of these modern voices attempt to peg Hitler as a Christian.
