Just want to get an idea of the forum's political demographic as it pertains to the Left/Right spectrum, not party affiliation (though you may share if you wish). You may have some left and right preferences, but where do you see yourself overall, at least right now?

This is based on self-perception. If you don't feel you fit in either category, choose other and explain why.

Disclaimer: This poll is set up to reveal how each user voted by clicking the numbers that correspond to each selection.

I'm more libertarian, so I'm not sure which choice to pick.

Well, libertarian is a party/political philosophy. You can be a left or right leaning libertarian. Same reason I didn't post Democrat/Republican etc.

I support whatever is most practical for progress.

Traditions should only be persevered when there are no better options.

Like most, it depends on the issue: I am somewhat libertarian, very conservative fiscally and to the middle on social issues. I choose to mark moderate right

How would you differentiate between a left leaning and right leaning Liberterian? It varies based on issue... on this forum I've been called both a leftist and a right winger Perhaps I should choose "other" as well.

It also varies based on the person. If you feel you side with issues on both the left and right, so that it creates a perfect balance, then you may choose center, or other if you wish. It's all based on self perception.
