Again, lets get our noses out of Africa. No free food EVER
You act like your taxes go to feeding the majority of Nigerians. Your taxes helped send 12 million or something dollars to Nigeria to feed 2 million Boko Haram refugees and three million food insecure people. Their is still 175 million people in the country who have a birth rate of over 5 and still have plenty to eat. The thing isn't because Nigerians have managed to contain the Boko Haram crisis, most of those two million refugees have stayed in Nigeria.
The second largest refugee problem in the world and only a few hundred thousand have left the country for Niger and Chad. Also nothing is free, as you know.
Surely, you know much more about the current state of affairs in Nigeria than I do, and if Nigerians can support their own population, then fine. However, Western nations and Japan should not be expected to soak up any excess.
By the way, are you "the" Nigerian Nightmare? If so, you might be interested to know that, as a soccer player as a kid, I knew the first two Nigerians who played in the NFL.
Their not expected, the nations themselves want more Nigerians. Nigerians of British descent are one of the most educated in British society, and same in America and everyyear there seems to be more Nigerians like this simply because we have the benefits of the English language, and the fact that outside of Nigerias corrupt system at least Igbos and Yorubas do well.
Also Nigerians do not ask western nations to take Nigerians. The reason projects like Eko Atlantic City are being built is to attract the predominantly wealthy Nigerian diaspora back into the country. Nigerians leave because the guy with a college degree is working as a construction worker. The government is thoroughly cheroot and inadequate. Their are changes but their not happening fast enough for those who want to succeed in life to stay.
Their are a few places I wouldn't trust Nigerians though. Nigerians all throughout Asia fall under two categories, working with oil or drug dealer/ criminal or some type. Nigerians in Switzerland and Italy are the same, drug dealer of wealthy British Nigerian whose job was moved.
BTW, while I'm interested in your comment . I am not the original Nigerian Nightmare (the NFL player), I got this nickname before I knew that guy existed. BTW England needs Nigeria more than ever. In the last youth tournament their were more people of Nigerian Heritage than their were white British people in the starting eleven. People of African heritage are starting to takeover soccer too. France was the first country to fall, England is next.
Stop feeding Africa. Sub-Saharan Africa has by far the highest birthrate of any other region in the world. Most Sub-Saharan Africans are impoverished and thoroughly incapable of feeding themselves using traditional African food gathering methods. To make matters worse, because the average IQ there is about 70, Africans are not intelligent enough to learn new food producing techniques. Modern agricultural techniques genuinely vex them, resulting in most of the mechanized equipment sent to Africa lying broken in barren fields because they're incapable of learning how to fix and maintain them.
The population there exceeded its carrying capacity about 20 years ago. Simply let nature take its course.It will be better for them and the environment. As things stand right now, thousands of animals species are in danger of becoming extinct in Africa because of the pressure overpopulation has put on the environment. In addition, health standards have been diminished so much since colonial times in much of Africa that disease is now rampant. Lowering the population there might actually be a necessity for the rest of humanity. Because of poverty and overpopulation, Sub-Saharan Africa has become a giant Perti dish of disease. It's only a matter of time before a catastrophic global pandemic of biblical proportions starts there.

Although the answer is cold and brutal it is a solution. Let nature run its course. Stop saving people from themselves.
Any good liberal will inform you that Westerners have ruined nature in Africa by exploiting its natural resources and creating climate change. So the West will be held responsible for saving all the billions who will be born there in this century. Massive amounts of capital will need to be sent in to fix various calamities, and the huge numbers of migrants who want out will have to be welcomed with open arms.

Do you know that the person who came up with the average African IQ estimated the IQ of 79 nations by saying the nation next to that nation has this IQ so I'll estimate that this nation has the same IQ. You know the originally got that number of 70 is that he got a group of South Africans at a college gave them an IQ test got an IQ of 85, then assume an IQ of 70 was the African IQ because on a whim he assumed African college students are one standard deviation higher than the normal population without testing anyone then assumed this was the African IQ. Take in mind Nigeria the largest African nation has an IQ of 84, not including the millions of high IQ people who have left to other countries.
Now unless you believe the one IQ unit is why Ireland (92) is better than Sierria Leone (91), or why Ghana(73), Botswana (70) and Namibia (74). Then you most also believe Ghana (73) understands 24/7 Electricity and modern police/ fire squads better than Nigeria (84) and Sierre Leone (92), because they have lower IQ. The data is far from complete but available evidence leads to the conclusion that IQ level is an important factor in the development of countries and, unfortunately, African IQs are very low on average. This is a huge challenge for Africa and the world. If an African population explosion and mass migration lead to a future world population with IQs similar to present day Africa, there could be a mass die off and an end human civilization as we know it.
To be fair: more and more countries are at replacement level or even less. Even most of the "breeder" countries are having less and less kids.
