Who is Tim Ryan? Meet the man challenging Nancy Pelosi - CNNPolitics.com

This has long been my position. The (D)'s got shellacked because they were not addressing the people's concerns over where they were going to find a decent job and instead concentrated on where they would be allowed to pee.
That doesnt actually answer my question, and you knew that before you typed it which means I will never get a real answer to my question.

Also, Nancy was the one who created the Strategy who got Democrats into that large majority, along with Rahm Emanuel.

The same people you blame for the defeats are the ones responsible for the victories as well.

Fortunately for the Republican party, the Democrat party has swung so far left and so far from anything the mainstream can even recognize as common sense that they have made themselves irrelevant. Now they are little more than an annoying pack of yippie little dogs. Not leaders, and not really a viable political party anymore. President Obama-thank you for this!

Actually, not so much-one party rule without viable options is never a good thing. A moderate Dem, with some intelligence with regards to economics and civil rights (and gun ownership IS a civil right) would be good for this country. Ryan (from what I know) is one of those-as is Jim Webb. Sadly, I don't think the Dem party has the brains to embrace either. My bet is that they keep going all-in with their Communist dream and stick with supporting people like Pelosi, Warren, Sanders and Ellison. In which case I doubt we'll be hearing much about them in a couple more years. The Democrat party is on the way to becoming as obsolete and irrelevant as....CNN.
Tim Ryan and Nancy Pelosi both have a net 50 liberal voting record(ThatsMyCongress)

Now obviously the bills they may have voted yes or no on are different, so that score isnt as prospective as it could be, but it does show that some of you are just blowing smoke and making the argument that perception is reality.

Ryan is no moderate, But he is also not a progressive either.

If you are truly voting based on guns and abortion( the 2 issues Ryan has a net negative on) then you probably should have been voting for Democrats all along. Those are the only issues where Ryan stands apart from current Democrats , and most of those votes are from the early 2000's and they are perception votes as he has voted for the same "letter of the law" bills with different names.

I actually cant find a single issue Pelosi and Ryan disagree on.

It does answer your question and no, it was George Bush that put the (D)'s in power (for a very short time).

At last we agree. If there is anyone to blame the Obama administration on, it would be the George W. Bush administration. I will always be proud of the fact that I never cast a vote for George W. Bush.

The funny thing is that people like you, working stiffs, always benefit massively from a more social democratic nation. To expand New Deal legislation is the right thing to do, and some people have to be dragged along, kicking and screaming along the way. Lots of working stiffs were vehemently against Medicare, Social Security, freeways, public schools and everything else that has massively helped the working class of America. A national health care system is no different.

Keep all your stupid society programs SSI, Medicade, freeways, and "free chit". Sound good? I can promise you that all that extra money I would have saved would have benefited me far more than a bunch of idiot bureaucrats who overspent the money through numerous corruption schemes, handouts, and incompetence.

We good?

Here is the thing. You can not survive without us, we can survive without you.

Without "us" the entire financial system collapsed. Personally, I'm good with that. Fair trade IMO.

Face it, the D party couldn't even bother to even BS the deplorable, white working class voters.

They thought all they had to do was racial/gender identity politics.

Also, why are you so hostile to people that owns businesses?

Who do you think adds to the economy, hires and pays wages and taxes? Politicians and bureaucrats?
