[quote=jghorton;46688823]Typical left wing nonsense! -- The GOP is just as much in favor of good healthcare for people as the bleeding heart liberals. But, they want a responsible plan that actually works and has a viable answer to the "how will it actually be paid for" question.

That's all well and good, but why, then, in at least a decade, have they not been able to come up with a single plan which addresses the needs of the un/underinsured?
My local Congressman is always blatting about doing away with the ACA, but he never has anything to replace it with. He gets health care for free through the Government, but doesn't want it, even if they have to pay, for anyone else. What's with that?
The ACA is not perfect. I defy anyone to come up with a plan that fits al 320,000,000 people with no exceptions. But we have to start SOMEWHERE, AND ADDING 22 million PEOPLE TO THE INSURANCE ROLLS WAS A GREAT START.
Let's move on from there, rather than try to invent a new plan which has not been forthcoming in at least a decade.

I'm too far away from retirement or medicare, but I'd definitely like to see SS killed, or at least have an option for opting out. Some sort of sliding scale based on age and letting me stop contributions.
Say... I also heard he has cloned Vlad Tepes from DNA samples to run his Democrat Reeducation Program as well. Or was it Cotton Mather?
