They need to dissolve the imaginary lines, get rid of the unconstitutional mandate, and get rid of the subsidy.

The United States of America isn't all sunshine and rainbows. If you want "free" or low cost health care, we've got Canada to the north of us, and the UK is a short plane or boat ride away. You can go there, yes, but go there to live by ALL of pitfalls that come with socialized medicine.

This nonsense of creating socialized medicine while still handing out tax breaks and credits to everyone but most of the country, needs to stop. If you want that way of life, it's out there, LEAVE, and go get it.

That's a government program I can get behind. Free assistance with leaving the country provided YOU DON'T EVER COME BACK. We don't need to keep figuring out ways to prop up the bottom rung of society at the expense of those that work for a better rung on the ladder. That's slavery, and it needs to stop.

Think of the United States as a kitchen. If you can't take the heat, kindly get out. Thank you.

Costs will come down in simply removing the feds from the equation.

Also - many people in health care want to help others, which is why they go into health care in the first place - and part of helping others is making prices affordable so people can use their services.
Good post. Thanks.

Universal healthcare just makes sense.

Canada spends 1/3 less as a percentage of GDP on healthcare, with a better out come. People live longer. Proof is in the pudding.

Does this apply to those who want to keep Medicare as well? Should they get out so Medicare can be eliminated? After all, you dont like single payer systems, and that's what the Canadian system and Medicare is.

Actually collusion is illegal. They simply bribe government to restrict supply and subsidize demand.

The poor need to die faster. GOT IT.

EVERY other first world country has universal care and cost is lower with better results. Medical simply is not a market like others. You are not comparison shopping after hacking off a finger. There are a ton of docs in in-network hospitals who are out of network sending 1000 to 20000 dollar bills for 15 mins to 2 hours work. We have people buying exclusive rights to out of patent medicines and jacking prices to ridiculous highs. We have corps withdrawing medicines just as the patent expires, reformulating and re-patenting.

Health Care is not a responsibility of the federal government

Whether you subscribe to that notion or not, you cannot deny that it already is just that in large sectors.

Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, the Veterans Administration, Obamacare.

I don't agree, but fine - if that's what Obama & the Dems want, come out and say it - run your election on it. Don't concoct this scheme to waste a bunch of time, resources, and effort to trick people (and funnel everyone else) into wanting universal healthcare.

I have more respect for people like yourself who just come out and say what they want.
