The painting is based upon a false premise from Ferguson

It is inappropriate for a government building

The black caucus can hang it in their individual hateful and racist offices... But not in public of the people house

The Capitol police did well to refuse to participate in this in any manner whatsoever

The next time they are in trouble or there is an airplane with terrorists on it heading for the Capitol, the police response should be "Oink you! You're on your own."

Actually there is a lot of people who argue for that. Most from the right. They want to be able to carry to defend themselves.

I do believe it's began, only it was a flag first then all books, bumper stickers, and items related followed.

If they believe in free expression, I'm sure no one would have a problem putting a painting of Mike Brown robbing a convenience store next to it.

It actually is taking a toll on the police, they just had a show on it. They are less likely to act now in fear of being sued, jailed or losing their job. Who didn't know this would follow.
Crime in Chicago is soaring because of it. It has just created a strange vibe. Some are still trying to work programs into the communities with high crime to work on public relations but it's difficult. Nobody wants to befriend cops in their neighborhood.

Targeting a cop is not included as a hate crime. btw They can call them pigs, paint pig pictures and it won't be the same as doing that with a monkey to a black person. Even though it is the same.

So an officer could where a shirt with a black person depicted as a monkey spitting on him. He could get fired at least at most who knows. The White house can hang a pig depicting police officer painting and it's fine. Just fine.

This is so dividing it's sad.

It also portrayed young black youths as wolves

But, oddly, the republicans weren't concerned about that portrayal. Only the portrayal of cops.

That's what many of us want. People also tried to say that the protests did nothing. They did. If someone has a broken tail light, keep on going. No, you can't be beating someone for not being respectful.

Concentrate on real crime. Some guy riding his bike and crossing the road in the middle of a block is not real crime.

Hate crimes are stupid. The police shouldn't be involved in name calling.

The White House did not hang the painting. Why would you say something like this?

Taking down the painting doesn't violate anyone's free speech right. The 'artist' has every right to create the painting but he does not have an inherent right to display it anywhere he wants outside the scope of his own property.
