There's male, there's female, and then there's hermaphrodite. This isn't about hermaphrodites, but rather about whether a man who is not born with both sex organs can authentically become a women by having an amputation, breast implants, and hormone treatment.
Is that what makes women different from men?
Does it go a little deeper based on being born with a specific assigned gender?
Can a woman become a man by amputating her breasts and having a penis attached to her urethra?
Can a male actually stop thinking, and being stronger, like a male?
If men who want to be women claim that female is the birth identity, why do so many transgender men act absurdly flamboyant. That's not female, that's hollywood.
Should we really allow anyone who says they are transgender to be so just because?
That's the way it really is, if some guy says he's a woman he doesn't have to prove it because there is no way to prove it, it's just all make believe.
Yes the federal government is usually the one to pick who is and who isn't a protected class of people.
Although some city councils do this and cause State governments to "write discrimination" into the law and cause massive boycotts of their states by liberal businesses and the sheeple vote for men in women's bathroooms because money trumps all.
He, (and I will call him he) obviously seems to feel like being a woman, but assuming you believe it's really a legitimate thing, what is the difference between someone who should be considered transgendered and someone that just has other issues?
If, say, a guy such as in the aforementioned video who does a few things to look for like a woman and says they are a woman but is CLEARLY of the male sex albeit with no hormone replacements or what have you say they are female should we just go along with it? Should they have to do everything possible converting one's sex before they should be calling them what they say they are, or somewhere inbetween?
I may get some flack for this, but as a woman I know I would never accept at least what that person above a woman, no matter how much he may view himself female.
Why do other people need to be accepted by you? I don't understand this increased interest in being involved in and wanting to control other peoples lives.

In theory, a man doesn't have to wear a dress and make-up to claim that he is female identified, and therefore entitled to change into his skirted swimsuit in the girl's change room.

No one is trying to control other people's lives. The problem is that some men think that it's okay to claim that they identify as women to be allowed into the women's change room at the swimming pool. That's is not okay, as it infringes on the rights of all the authentic women and girls who are changing into swimsuits at the pool.
We know it's not about hermaphrodites.
We know it's not about authentic gender.
Therefore, it must be about whether authentic gender can be achieved with a bit of surgery and some pills.
Personally, I believe that is absurd.
I think people who have had plastic surgery to alter their facial features are grotesque, and having the entire body plasticized is over the top.
