For the sake of argument, let's assume that hackers in Russia, on behalf of Vladimir Putin, did specifically hack the DNC and turn over emails to Wikileaks, and assume also that Hillary would've won the election absent of this. I don't see why that would be a big deal. Everyone is saying it's an "assault on our democratic process" or implying that our government was attacked. Are we forgetting that the DNC and RNC aren't part of the government? Political parties aren't something that's in the Constitution, are private associations. The only time when the election becomes the responsibility of the government is at the voting booths, making the sure voting is fair. Campaigns are always influenced by biased media, money (domestic and foreign), etc. The idea that the government is supposed to make campaigns "fair" is wrong. You're allowed to use "fake news", hacked information, whatever you want to sell your candidate. The voters are responsible for making their own decisions.
Furthermore, if the election was "unfairly influenced", what's an example of a "fair" election? Was the election of 2008 unfair in the Democrats favor since Sarah Palin's email was hacked and since Wikileaks released info about the Iraq War?
Yes, the dems are only concerned with influencing the election when it hurts their candidate.
I haven't seem one single democrats call for an investigation into who stole trump's tax returns, or for the prosecution of the NYT for illegally publishing Trumps returns to influence the outcome of the election.
Statist Liberal ideology says everything should be State-run.
