As long as we are in NATO, it is very much out job. Leave it to Trump, and we might not be in NATO much longer.

Putin owns Trump. Trump cannot borrow money from US banks because his credit is so bad from all his bankruptcies. Only the Russians will lend him money. This is tit-for-tat business for Trump.

Yes, the future growth of the US economy depends heavily on the maintenance of the US Dollar as the de facto reserve currency and the de facto international currency of trade. It is important that the volume of US Dollar-denominated trade transactions continue to grow.

Dont worry, Russia has begun forming 2 guards armies in their western military district and the infrastructure to maintain more is being set up.

Americans don't need to keep their money in their pockets or new bridges and better public transportation.

They can pay for their own Vaseline too.

This could have all been done differently.

Heck I don't blame Russia for any movements to their border.

This is starting to look very ww1 ish in regards to spheres and posturing. Thank goodness for the Syrian ceasefire with MULTIPLE air forces with competing interests operating in the same theater. Way to easy to have a modern day gavrilo princip incident.

This was no spur of the moment mobilization.
No, of course it isn't spur of the moment. News article from last June:
