i.e. Democrats have no power now to obstruct anything.
Republicans have cried alligator tears about Obama care. Let's see what the big blow hards put up as their plan. We all know they've had 7 years to come up with one. Right?

He is, and has always been, the biggest partisan hack in DC.

Since Reid deployed the "nuclear option" rather than negotiating with Republicans on nominations, the rules have changed. There is no reason to worry about Dems opinions-they are irrelevant now, as long as the 51% of Republicans vote the same way.

And now Reid is gone having lost the Senate, Bigly. So much for that.

1. what the GOP and McConnell did to Merit Garland was not unprecedented. you either need to get some understanding of the history of SCOTUS nominations or stop spreading lies.
2. beyond SCOTUS, HUNDREDS of nominations to federal courts go unconfirmed.
3. YOU have some nerve trying to suggest hypocrisy considering the pure hate that has come from the left. Justice Thomas was eaten alive and to this day is treated like a demon. Judge Bork was so horribly treated, that his name became a freaking VERB for liberals derailing judicial nominations.
YOUR SIDE did this. YOUR SIDE created this mess.

Suck it up. as Barak says, elections have consequences.

Very true. Dems better grow some bowling balls and make things rough on the GOP agenda. I certainly hope they grill Trumps nominees hard and expose these frauds for what they are. I'm especially interested in Ben Carson's confirmation hearing. That should be quite entertaining. Drain the swamp nonsense being perpetrated by PEOTUS is the biggest lie of the year and there are many by team dufus.

Well first of all that's a big "if" with the slim majority they have, some GOP members have already gone against the grain. Secondly the nuclear option was on used on federal court appointments and cabinet level appointments. and they did not use it on every case.

This does not apply to any other bills, so your relevance prediction is a bit premature.

I would say Price, Pruitt and Sessions are the big ones, too bad they can't have a shot at Flynn & McFarland that would have been entertaining.

You have no clue you contradicted yourself within 3 minutes.....

Post 125, nobody should obstruct....

Post 126, did you see the bills, that's why they did not go to vote.....?

I thought NOBODY should obstruct just because they have majority....you need to make up your mind....

Or you're just a typical leftist, that say's what they want and does the opposite....

No, there is a difference between blocking the 60 bills to defund the ACA, blocking raising the spending cap, do you understand the difference, probably not.

Here is a perfect example in light of current affairs, maybe you can dig out a bill that had merit blocked by the democrats, I'm sure there is one. The GOP hated Holder with a passion but they even blocked Lynch's confirmation for 3 months, McConnell even filibustered his own bill.

But yes I would not want to see the democrats respond in kind but god knows that's a tough nut after 8 years of this nonsense.

WASHINGTON — A cybersecurity bill that had been one of the Obama administration’s top national security priorities was blocked by a Republican filibuster in the Senate on Thursday, severely limiting its prospects this year.
The Senate voted 52 to 46 to cut off debate, falling short of the 60 needed to force a final vote on the measure, which had bipartisan support but ran into a fight over what amendments to the legislation could be proposed.
