Sanders is for all intents and purposes, a democrat. What is the difference between a socialist and a democrat?

You seem to be fighting a hopeless fight. Trump is the president. The Democratic Party must be an open party if it wants to recover. Open to independents as well. Not be a party simply of old loyal Democrats. The last thing we need is more "Bernie isnt a Democrat!"

She said there are not enough minorities in leadership. She's tired of the racism in the democrat party. Who isn't?

If the Democrats were smart they'd distance themselves from her. Making that comment does nothing but her the Democratic party. You can't win an election by the black community itself. It's not statistically possible so statements like that only push white moderate voters away. The same type of voters that the Democrats need if they want to regain the White House.

What makes you think she holds any position in the Democratic Party?

It's okay to be racist if you're a Democrat. The Democrat party has been racist from its beginning, they were racist against blacks to get votes for a long time and now switched to being racist against whites to get votes. You can't be a Democrat and not be a racist.

The first one may be true in the sense of Left vs Right.

But the second, who cares.

FDR by your definition would be a socialist and he is to the left of Sanders.
