Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R) on Saturday signed controversial legislation that will allow workers to refuse to pay union dues, a victory for Republicans who control the state government for the first time in nearly a century.
The so-called right-to-work law passed the Kentucky state Senate on Saturday. The House, which Republicans captured in November's elections, passed the law last week.

Change.
I discussed this on my other message board. There won't be much impact here.
The trickle of change continues to happen as more states shed old Repressive ways.
This will allow KY to compete with other states for new factories that may want to build in the US.

KY already has non union factories, Toyota is not a union plant, and they have been there for quite a while.

It might marginally help job growth but the reality is few non teacher jobs are union anyway. Some representatives are bringing a North Carolina style bathroom bill up for a vote, if it passes that would negate any positive RTW job growth.

There's also two large Ford factories in Louisville and a small GM Corvette factory in Bowling Green that are UAW. Not sure how RTW effected UAW in Michigan.
