Has the news media ever referred to democratic party president appointments as "controversial"? I remember when GW Bush appointments were up for confirmation, the press referred to them as controversial and attacked them on every little detail. But when a democratic party president appointments are up for confirmation, the press attacks Republicans for asking tough questions of the candidates.

NOPE - even when the Democrats nominate a Tax avoider like Turbo Timmy - no mention of "controversial" OR any problemos with confirmation.
