If you are a citizen of the US, then Trump is your POTUS , just as Obama was and GWB was . Get over it . Trumps legitimacy does not depend upon sore losers accepting him.
I have heard "He's not my President" in reference to Trump from friends, clients, online, even my mother. I was speaking with my Mom about this last night.
It doesn't matter that you didn't vote for Trump. It doesn't matter if you despise Trump. It doesn't matter if you fear for the future because of Trump. As far as I'm concerned it's a plain vanilla straight forward fact that Donald Trump IS YOUR president, the POTUS of every citizen in this country. I didn't vote for Trump, but he is MY President.
Same as it meant with conservatives said it about Obama...

No shortage of people who Have said " he's not my president" in reference to Obama, for the past 8 years.
Had the outcome of the 2016 election, favored Trump in terms of the popular vote but not the Electorial College, it's quite likely millions would say "she is not my president".
It means you reject the constitutional republic , no more , no less. There is no point in having such a thing if the minority votes are not subject. It is just two tribes in a state of war.
This will come home to roost on the Democrats just as it has on some Republicans in their refusal to acknowledge Obama. Had the Republicans provided a reasonable candidate in 2012, they may not have even had that problem.
People will remember the treatment of Trump, just as some may well remember the treatment of Obama. However I would remind people Obama was not ill treated in 2008 by the vast majority. It is the left that has taken this extremism into the mainstream.
What Democrats should be doing is a little self reflection on the power they handed this office. Do you not appreciate the 2nd amendment more now? Do you like executive orders now? In the exact same way do the Democrats only imagine they will do the hitting and that no one will return in kind.
