The market hates instability. Newsflash to Trump Supporters: His moronic rants on the campaign trail were one thing, but now as President, his unstable demeanor and pettiness can affect your 401ks, your investments, currency value, etc.

Dollar sputters in aftermath of Trump

A hit to my IRA and other mutual fund accounts was well worth what I saw yesterday

The headline is:

Dollar sputters in aftermath of Trump’s lack of policy details

That has nothing to do with Donald telling the rude CNN reporter to sit down.

God you people are grasping at straws...

Not to mention they will come back.

Example after example of Trump calling out a company and that company's stock dropping that day only to rebound the next day and afterwards.

Overall the market has been on a steady uptick since NOV 9th, only slowing when it nears that psychological barrier of 20K, which it will surpass pretty soon.

Not a very honest thread title.

I posted a lot on your side of things before the election, and thought many of your posts very astute. But your sour grapes post election stuff is turning your posts very juvenile.

Actually things are flat as people are waiting for 4th quarter results. Trumps real effects on this will start on the 20th. And while he can do some damage, the real damage will come from the house and senate.

Sorry but when your the president, words have power.

This is a HOT MESS:
Quote:
Within the press conference, the incoming US President remarked on relations with two of the more common international relationships during the campaign and after. Trump addressed the United States’ diplomatic relationship with Russia, suggesting the country may have engaged in hacking. In reference to Mexico, he would suggest that their government has been accommodating, but stuck to the view that they would share in the cost of a wall at the two countries’ border – a physical barrier some DailyFX analysts believe will translate into a relationship obstruction.

This is where a steady hand comes into play.

I hope they attempt to tank the market to around 15k or so, then we can invest cheap and watch it rise as trump brings real economic growth back to the US.
