Yep. When Amazon started building all those new regional distribution centers back in 2014 where most of these people will be working, it was because they knew the Trump creature was going to be elected in 2016.

Eventually we will get to Trump actually creating jobs...

LOL.

Who am I kidding. Trump is doomed on this topic. Not because he will not make good choices, or is dumb, or all the other things.

Presidents have little to do with employment as compared to say...the Senate or House. I will admit though, Trump is going to be different. He might have big impacts....

BUT. And this is the critical thing. Automation is coming to a degree during his presidency that unemployment will rise. Thats not on him, thats just reality. He can make it worse, or he can make it less worse, but I dont see him stopping it.

Amazon hired 150,000 over the past 5 years and has been making major investments in regional distribution warehouses and industrial robotics. Those who follow the stock know this.

Obama could have tweeted about it but that's not the way he rolled.

Yeah because a president choosing winners and losers because he is too immature to handle criticism will SURELY make things work better right?

Bezos is among the richest people in the world. He really doesn't have to play nice with Trump. The fact that he even tried is a credit too him.
