It won't happen. Twitter is the beacon of democracy. Bumper sticker slogans on steroids.

Or they could just use the $12B to pay for the wall and get on our good side by cooperating. Idiots!

You see how Trump is already getting Mexico to spend money. Sooner or later they will realize paying for the wall is the cheapest thing they can do.

Mexico doesn't have to buy Twitter. It could just hack and re-word certain Tweets. That would be funnier.

In 4 years Twitter will be old technology and some geek somewhere will have come out with a new hot way to communicate.

Paying 12B for old technology would not be too smart.

Mexico did not get where it is today by being smart.

You know Trump has a rival right- not the country --Carlos Slim Helú the world's richest person with an estimated net worth of US$75.5 billion, BUT- hours after Donald Trump's ascent to the White House, a plunge in the peso and select stock prices shaved $4.7 billion off Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim Helu's fortune — more than any other billionaire in the world.

so he is NOT happy rich guy- let's see what happens

Instead of fixing the problem, people suggest shutting down the messengers. Typical.

There will be many more "Twitters" to come. It's just another tech flash in the pan.

It would be like buying a newspaper who prints unwelcome editorials.
