Hardly something anyone should use to attack Obama and the White House for doing.
"...motivated by...communications strategy."

What kind of communications strategy that he needed to deliberately cover up a religious symbol -- for HIS speech?

It conveys a strategy that he doesn't want the symbol to be in any way associated with him by anyone in the audience. Not a good strategy.

The Rev. Reese was being gracious and diplomatic, perhaps uncomfortable with the action since they allowed it to begin with. There's no excuse for hiding what you stand for.

By this action, the administration showed what Obama [does not] stand for.

Just location denial that is exclusive to Obama.

But to trump, the important things don't matter.

It's all about him, all the time.

And yet, someone has taken the time to tape over the names on every single one of them unbeknownst to the provider, something that has never been done before.

Why do you suppose that is?

My "claims" (as you say) mean nothing.

Check his twitter feed.

They're proof positive of what I posted.

From the article:

A spokesman for the Architect of the Capitol, which oversees the Capitol and its grounds, said the logos were being covered or removed to comply with Capitol grounds restrictions on advertising.
