Pew study shows almost 75% of police are in favor of protecting the 2nd amendment instead of additional gun control. This includes 2/3's who oppose an assault weapons ban.

Pew: Police Support Gun Rights over Gun Control by 3 to 1 Margin

The people who feel the affects of civilian gun ownership the most overwhelming support the 2nd amendment and your individual rights to protect yourself.

Well, yeah, the more crime, the more mayhem, the more need for police.

Meanwhile, the supreme court is about to be stacked with puppets of the ruling billionaire class so you are not going to have much say in future elections anyway because anyone who runs will have to beg the donor class for money and be their puppet.

I support better training for police and teaching them how to de-escalate situations rather than resort to the use of firearms. The police in this country would be better if they knew how to actually be police rather than thugs.

The people who feel the affects of civilian gun ownership the most overwhelming support the 2nd amendment and your individual rights to protect yourself.

An increase in Civilian firearm ownership and Carry Conceal permits holders, can only help in their job. First if there are 1 in 100 people that own a gun and carry a firearm on a daily basis; a criminal producing a gun has a clear advantage over most everybody.

Increase that number to 10 out of a 100, the criminal still has the advantage, but not knowing who in that 1 in 10 has a firearm. It increases the chances that the person committing the crime will be meat with instead of give me you money, be meat with a bullet.

So as civilian ownership of firearms increases the criminal odds of encountering a armed responses is now increasing. And in some cases forcing the criminal to justify their actions or move on to the easier target.

The police can not be everywhere, and nor would I want a civilization that has a officer ever 30 feet. In every situation, that your as a person are at a location, you are own first responder. if you are already their, you are one of the first responders. You man not be trained as first responder, but you could be.
