I frankly would be happy with an immediate repeal, and NO replacement.

Allow the free market to handle the insurance rates, across state lines.

Divert trillions of dollars by "taxing" certain government expenditures from the annual budget to a fund to handle the needs of those truly ill (pre existing conditions) for a period of the next thirty years. By that time everyone should have free market insurance, or be well educated as to the ramifications of not having it, until the time they reach the age of being eligible for medicaid.

The free market always supplies solutions where the government cannot.

We do have one problem with that. Trump has stated that the new program will be better than ACA, it will be cheaper, and nobody will lose their coverage. He might have backed himself into a hole? Hopefully he knows exactly what he is doing. I do know that many are proposing plans to replace the ACA; I just don't know if any will work.

I agree with Mrs. Obama as well. It's just a shame that the Obama administration chose the My way or the highway approach to leadership. Then again the you are for me or against me mentality can be construed as we are stronger together. LOL

Yep, his quote regarding ACA, "We're driving the car now. Republicans can ride along but they have to get in the back."

He then proceeded to drive car right into a ditch.

The election made it clear, and the losers must back down or become outliers.
Once that happens there cannot be a good result.

Dead on.

After 7 years of complaining no one even has biker points or a Skelton of what replacement looks like? The clearly were doing anything besides saying no. They couldn't actually strategize for the day it was there turn?it doesn't matter what your job is, you should have a baseline outline if your vision and plan besides "erase Obama." Which is all I have heard from the republics fir 8 years. Nothing more concrete or productive.

Yelling and saying no isn't governing. And they'll soon. Realize they are way out of practice when they are actually accountable for doing something concrete.

Super majority passed a very bad piece of legislation. The left owns the ACA lock stock and barrel. Those who were against called out the many failings only to be shouted down by the left.
The left had the votes, had the 100% going to pass power. They could have enacted Universal Health care, single payer health care, anything they wanted. They had the votes and the power...
It boggles my mind why they opted for the ACA? There had to be some big money behind closed doors being exchanged.
The right. Somehow after the left flubbed the ACA it became the problem to fix it. I have to wonder if that wasn't to help share the blame?
Replace it. Easier said than done given the deep roots and the many issues involved with replacing it. It's sort of like a weed. Need to kill the roots to prevent it from coming back.
If I had my way? Vat tax like Australia and a system comparable to Australia's. No need to re-invent the wheel.

Stronger together is something we agree on and should unite us!
Its called dealing with real issue that is important to working Americans.

And that doesn't even count the myriad of proposed bills from the GOP House that got to Harry Reid's desk and never saw the light of day after that.
