Liberals continue to prove their definition of 'compromise' and 'unity' is "DO IT OUR WAY AND SHUT UP". Complete and utter hypocrites. You CLAIM to want to unify the country, you CLAIM to want whats best for everyone, you CLAIM to want bipartisan efforts - all BS. Actions speak louder than words and you've proven all you want is control over everyone else.
So, according to the OP, the opposition to Obama didn't even start until weeks or months after his inauguration? Once his policies were being implemented? Once he had begun to have an impact? As the impact of his decisions began to be felt?
How does this compare to now? When virulent leftists, both in the DNC and in the MSM attacked President Trump since nearly a year BEFORE THE ELECTION? When the attacks stepped up to a level of irrationality and and lies in the weeks before the election? And how they have jumped the shark to the level of the absurd since the election, and as the inauguration approaches?
You see, people at least gave Obama a chance. They waited for him to take office before forming a final opinion. Unfortunately, he proved to be less capable and more damaging to this country than most people's worst fears. Perhaps we should try the same with Trump. It is possible he will be as bad as Obama, in which case, he deserves to be called in it in the same manner.

Haha you must have been living in a parallel universe for the last 8 years because I recall GOP lawmakers were punished by colleagues and constituents for even appearing to be cordial with Barack Obama.
The GOP folded their arms, refused to work with the president , they refused to even send him many bills for 6 years and then made sure to blame him for everything. It worked out brilliantly for them politically. Of course the nation suffered but really they dont care.
Now as fate would have it we find ourselves in reversed roles except now, Republicans and Donald Trump have no one to blame but themselves from here on out.
And we Democrats have quite the opportunity to fight back.
The seeds for this opposition are already being planted across the country.
