I'd like to know why white people, in their heart of hearts, feel threatened by Black Lives Matter. Saying "black lives matter" takes nothing away from the meaning of your own life. Why are you afraid to consider how other people experience their lives in this country? If we're to listen to the grievances of the white working class, why can't the grievances of black people be heard?
There are many parallels between Black Lives Matter and the Civil Rights Movement of the '60's. White people who think it's a zero-sum game in which any equality granted black people will take away their rights, the belief that there's some major source of funding coming from "agitators." It's striking.

most white americans are killed by other white people, yet BLM is on the top of your lists and you call THEM terrorists. Get your intra-racial murder rates down to zero before you worry about other groups. See how that works?
Only people BLM has paid is white media. And the few 'leaders' who profited off it before going leaderless when questioned. Never would've gained steam if the movement hadn't started.
Because the livelihoods of Black people are constantly threatened by racist whites, perhaps?

By the way, that snarky attitude will get you in trouble in real life around not just Black people, but anybody with a shred of empathy.

Far fewer anglo white people out of 100 are killed by other anglo white compared to MUCH higher Black on Black murder rate.
It's really frustrating hearing people talk about black on black crime, especially when the movement was designed to address the issue. And was working, until Black Lives Matter was propped.
Again, the more I read the more I find out people. really. don't. know. what. happened.
I'm honestly hearing conservatives using talking points not realizing it was the Dems and media propping/funding the group. Of course they're going to play to their base.
Black Lives Matter was a great example of the government intervening, and not having the best solutions.
And for black people. Why the hell are you supporting a government movement?
