The people who have declined to perform have not done so because they are afraid for their lives. They don't want to be associated with Trump either because they don't like him, or they know their fans don't like him.

There have been no death threats. That's bull****. An unsubstantiated quote from an unnamed source is not a death threat.
Anyone they invited could have performed if they wanted to. They don't want to. What's the problem?
The only whining in this thread is from Trump supporters who can't admit that almost everyone who has been invited to perform at the inauguration has turned him down because they don't like him.
Nobody cares if your Hollywood idols dislike Trump. We elected Trump to lead the nation, not pander to liberals.
Besides, the inauguration is simply a formality. If this formality is causing you to have a meltdown, I can't imagine how you're going to handle the next four years.
Nobody believes a word that Trump speaks. He changes what he say's every night at 2AM. People have to go by his actions, not his words.
