It is a modern rifle. Just like the evolution of all things man made.

Can you quote the post where I told you what arms you needed please?

Or do you just like to make stuff up when people dont agree with you?

It screams, you are not really in the market, but blurted it without thinking, to establish cred.... That you lost long ago.

Having said that, the topic of the thread is about why people call the AR15 a military style weapon. It is because that is what it is.

Militia = Civilian Organized Military, trained in domestic gorilla warfare.

Nothing new about that term. An AR-15 is not an assault rifle, but it is military style. So what?

But why call it anything other than what it is? A military style rifle marketed to those who, as Bushmaster famously said, want to get their man card back.

Says you. I disagree and if you come help me on Hog duty, I will make a believer out of you so then you can sit there with experience and lie and say I do not have a purpose for a high capacity "clip"(LOL)

Actually used to speedload the internal mag, like my BAR is.

I have clips for my 30.06 BAR mag. Makes reloading the mag simple and easy. Just line up and push them in.

It is the most modern sporting rifle available and easy to make. Military rifles have a happy switch.

I have made many homemade 5.56's and a few .308's, cannot be too military, if I can make one in my garage.

Danger-Danger Will Robinson
Probably end up shooting himself & if he survives he'll decide that pistol should be banned because it's dangerous .

They spend so much time defending things like the term "clip" which many older military NCOs continued to use even after being rearmed with detachable magazine equipped weapons and defending the exact definition of "assault" that makes it through the legislature so that they can win by using the letter of the law to thwart the intent of the law. Doing things like having a thin slice of wood extending from the bottom of the pistol grip to the butt stock. Since "style" can't be encoded in law in falls like pornography in a I know it if I see it standard of the presiding judge hearing a case.
