I didn't vote for him but I'm enjoying this day. I'm thrilled to see the first immigrant first lady since the 1800's in the White House. That's an amazing tribute to America.

(eta: Also looks like tear gas now being used somewhere close by to the ceremony site - and large crowds of security personnel surrounding what looks to be a group of protesters. I truly hope these remain isolated incidents and eventually calm down.)

Had heard about drug offenders with clean prison records whose crimes are no longer prosecuted the same way; hadn't heard about those with weapon charges released. Where did you see that?
