Old bastards--and bastardrinas--need to retire. If they actually had to work they probably would have retired by age 65.

Homeless panhandlers work harder than many of these f---ers.

The oldest person in the house is 87 and a democrat

Dems have no bench, having lost 1,000 statewide and Capitol Hill seats vs 1/20/2009.

That's True Hope & Change.

This is precisely what Trump referred to in his speech today. People going to DC to enrich and empower themselves. Its a bipartisan cancer that a lot of people seem to accept.

Actually for some time now it is usually the republicans who arrive "rich" and perhaps leave richer. Democrats sent to Washington D.C. OTHO tend to come from more humble backgrounds but make up for it the longer remain in office.

You see this play out when there are attempts to curtail, withdrawn or whatever certain perks/bennies for members of Congress. Democrats and or their spouses are more likely to need a pension or some sort of plan as compensation for their time in government instead of private sector.

Currently you also see this in how DT, and other republicans either elected or appointed to posts are having to pass the Office of Ethics and divulge their assets and in cases get shot of them to avoid conflicts of interest. Ever since GWB 1 rich persons who enter government service receive special tax treatment for the assets they sell or whatever when taking up their posts/elected seats. The president at the time said the change was needed to encourage the "wealthy" into government positions.
