So Trump is already starting off on a high note:

Trump is planning to kill the NEA, cut loose PBS and NPR · Newswire · The A.V. Club

He plans to not only cut funding for the National Endowment of the Arts. And plans to massacre NPR and PBS in the process.

I guess Trump didn't see the example set by his rich peers like the Rockafellers and the Onassis family - funding art, donating to museums etc is a great way to leave a legacy.

That's fine by me. We shouldn't have state-sponsored media. Before you Democrats beat me up over that, remember what RT is.

Federal funding is a minor part of NPR and PBS's operating budget. They'll survive.

Good to hear that, shouldn't be controversial then. NPR has gotten pathetically biased over the last few years. I used to listen pretty regularly, they would make some effort to cover both sides of an issue. Now, they don't even pretend. They have gone full snowflake since before the election.

I'm a huge fan of PBS, but they'll have to learn how to survive on their own at some point.

They will get even more public funding than ever and why does every ninny zero in on these things and believe that we do not need more intelligent radio and TV broadcasting? Never mind...I just realized...these are the same people that voted for a reality TV numbnut birther.

Public funding should have never been available.
