With the 2016 general elections being a repudiation of the far left agenda in some senses (if you see the Electoral College as a victory), can the Black Lives Matter movement win back the hearts of the American voter, of all races. (Some black voters are skeptical of the movement, not all black voters think alike.)
On the contrary, I think they helped push away moderate Democratic voters. Look at teachers. BLM went 'open season' on teachers, accusing them of being representatives of the "white supremacist educational system", of being "culturally insensitive" for suspending trouble making kids, demanded the power to fire teachers they disagreed with, etc. Teachers, like farmers and blue collar workers, are the bread & butter of the party. In this election cycle though, they rejected the hate & paranoia of BLM and started voting Republican because they'd had enough. Amazing as it may seem, but 1 in 3 NEA members (teachers union) voted Trump in 2016. In 2012 that would have been unthinkable.
They did at the 2016 Democratic Nat'l Convention, and at Fusion forums, etc.
