It is pretty easy to make money, when you have money to begin with. Trump has always had money, from his birth until now. He was raised as a privileged kid, got out of the draft (like Bush), his dad paid for him to get into university (like Bush).

Trump does have a work ethic (unlike Bush), but let's not pretend he's a great businessman. He's filed for bankruptcy six times and can no longer get approved for a loan by a U.S. bank. He's dependent on loans from foreign countries (we don't know which ones, since he won't reveal that...they are in his tax returns).
That's all theoretical , I've heard that before too . Also if he put his money in a fund he wouldn't be employing thousands of people or contributing to many local economies with his hotels, etc.

Pretty easy to turn millions into billions? No it's not. There are millions of millionaires and there are very few billionaires.

Look at all these startups that get thrown millions for their ideas most of them aren't around in a few years.

Fact is he started with a relatively small loan and turned it into billions .
Very very few people are able to do that. Just a fact.

Why don't people do it? They don't want to be billionaires?...right..

So true. Obama became the lapdog of SNL instead of the other way around. And Syria, Afghanistan, and Ukraine have never found him or SNL funny.

Get real.

He made his money cheating people out of theirs. Ask the contractors in Atlantic city. Or the American banks who have all refused to loan him money for over a decade now.

Ask the people in Scotland how much he's contributed to their economy.

He employs foreign workers at his American resorts and hotels. His son hires foreign workers for his vineyards. There are reports about how Trump used Polish laborers on the Trump Tower project and treated them poorly.

Of course the media will jump on the handful of deals that went wrong right?
Especially MSM which doesn't even try to hide the fact they are anti-Trump.

If it was only a handful of deals, he'd still be getting loans from American banks.

There is good reason to believe he is not nearly as wealthy as he claims.

Resorts and golf courses are investment intensive enterprises that require considerable cash flow to keep the lights on and the employees paid. It could well be underwater in most of them, being kept afloat by foreign "investors."

If he was so wealthy, why would he change guests to his NYE's party at his winter White House, Mar-a-Lago? Or use his foundation funds to buy sports memorablia?

Trump takes significant ethical risks for fairly small amounts of money. What true billionaire does that?

Ok so how wealthy is he ?

His businesses could all be underwater? Have you looked at his books?..

Who cares if he charges guests at Mar-a-Lago, it's his property right?..

What a shame.

Agreed. Which is why I stopped watching it years ago.

Republicans are in bed at a decent hour. Democrats who have been up all night because they don't have any responsibility don't watch "Duck Dynasty" because they are still sleeping off their bender from the night before.

I like the WU guys. They aren't complete left wing tools. Jost even said Trump was going to win last season. I had to FF last night when they had a shouting ape on WU, though.

Actually blue states have the great economies. Seattle is around 4% unemployment with more people trying to buy houses than houses available to buy. Wasn't the complaint that the Rust Belt and Appalachia are unemployed? Which is it? Saturday Night Live is a pop culture show that appeals to Democrats. Maybe Duck Dynasty is on early in the day, who knows.
