There aren't jobs for everyone who wants them. I want welfare recipients off welfare...I want them to have jobs. I want college students with worthless degrees to have jobs so they can their debts.

The people without jobs voted democrat so they can stay jobless and continue to life comfortably.

Nixon was the only POTUS to garner more viewers for his second term at 33M

As a percentage of households, the numbers have been declining for decades. Then again, people are streaming and those numbers are not being captured.

Who cares?

The finale of Cheers in 1983 beat all inauguration viewers.

Super Bowls attract multiples of inauguration viewers.

And I have to say it was hilarious to watch Trump's press guy get in front of the cameras and become the 2nd coming of Saddam Huessin's propaganda guy and LIE like a rug in the face of undeniable evidence that far, FAR fewer people attended Trump's inauguration than Obama's. Yes yes I know most of Trump's supporters were working of course they were.
I remember that guy - Tariq Aziz. Yes, that poor man had to get up and lie like a rug for his boss. Now we have Sean "Tariq" Spicer.

I watched in 1984, because I had turned 18 in time to vote in that election, but not one since.

I guess it's history, but it's not a moon landing or the fall of the Berlin Wall.
I have never watched an inauguration. There's too many spoilers and I know how the story ends.

Yes, millions more watched live streams online. Nobody under 30 watched the inauguration on TV. Heck, I'm over 30, and I watched it on a live stream.

If you add the millions of people that watched on live streams, Trump surely had the most viewers ever.

My 72 year old mother and my 50-something husband. Some people hate streaming on a little screen. We have this YUGE TV. Why not use it. It's got a great picture.

So let's not conflate the numbers into some approval factor. Half the people who watch Trump are doing it to see the train wreck.
A President is not suppose to work for certain groups, the government was not setup for special needs of every citizen. Your state does this and community. People need to stop asking the government to guide your thoughts and moves. President Trump said he was for Americans, is this not you?
