The UN is nothing but a big party for third world dictators who loot their home countries to live in luxury and pretend like they have a voice. The UN should only consist of countries that provide foreign aid, not those that consume it.

The UN is a political garbage can for the fermentation of anti American policy's and a vehicle to undermine sovereign nation status.

Defund it and take back the property and move the capital from Washington D.C. to NYC.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Can someone who is for this explain to me ( a real, honest, thoughtful explanation, not just insults and rhetoric) what the reasoning is behind this bill? What would be the advantage to us average US citizens? Do we have to go all the way back to 1944 in order to be great again?

I'm getting a headache thinking that monitoring these monkeys will soon become like a full time job. Off to put a note on my planner to call my rep tomorrow.

Strange that a democrat would introduce this bill.

Wasn't it the dems that attacked Trump because he said the UN needs to become more relevant?

If we can't get countries to pay 2% of GDP and agree to fight terrorism, then we need to do this.

Without the USA, the UN is an impotent bureaucracy.

It's not a Democrat. The guy's middle initial is D. His name is Mike D. Rogers.

He's a Republican from Alabama.

Rep. Rogers, Mike D. [R-AL-3]

The U.N. hates the U.S. and Israel, our only true ally in the Middle East. They love taking our money but then turn around and oppose us every chance they get.

We are really a big sucker by keeping on funding them. I think we are their biggest funder, too.
