By your way of reasoning, Trump voters are idiots, yet we elected Trump and we won. Hillary lost, therefore her voters are more idiotic than Trump voters? I think you should stop with the constitution questions and learn simpler concepts. Start with manners.
I don't think Trump voters are idiots, they're just misinformed of reality.
There is no Constitution, there never has been. No piece of paper could ever stop the ambitions of man.
A Republic is nothing more than an oligarchy. The purpose of the Constitution, is to make sure the elites of this country maintain their control of the country, by preventing democracy from making any radical changes.
The basic assumption of a Republic, is that the people are too stupid to make decisions for themselves, and so they should elect, or otherwise place into power, "better men" than themselves, to rule over them.
Now we are on to something. Finally a REAL answer!
still trying use that bullcrap stance, even though the national popular votes means nothing.
Quote:
30% of the country voted for Trump.
try 30 states voted for trump. that is 60% of the country.

Yes.. Trump voters are idiots.
considering the cap you are posting, trump voters are geniuses compared to hillary voters. at least we are not looking for any safe place to go hide from anything.

Any more questions?
i would, except that you wouldnt understand them, or you would be looking for your safe place to go and play with your crayons and play doh to get over hillary losing.
Now we are on to something. Finally a REAL answer!
really? so the piece of paper we call the constitution doesnt exist? even though the original copy is in the library of congress on display for everyone to see? and you consider that a real answer?

It doesn't exist in the practical sense.
Do you honestly believe that the government of today was authorized by our Constitution? Get real.
"Inasmuch as the Constitution was never signed, nor agreed to, by anybody, as a contract, and therefore never bound anybody, and is now binding upon nobody; and is, moreover, such an one as no people can ever hereafter be expected to consent to, except as they may be forced to do so at the point of the bayonet, it is perhaps of no importance what its true legal meaning, as a contract, is. Nevertheless, the writer thinks it proper to say that, in his opinion, the Constitution is no such instrument as it has generally been assumed to be; but that by false interpretations, and naked usurpations, the government has been made in practice a very widely, and almost wholly, different thing from what the Constitution itself purports to authorize. He has heretofore written much, and could write much more, to prove that such is the truth. But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain – that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist." - Lysander Spooner

EVERY state ratified the constitution, thus it is a legal document that the government is required to follow. i grant that they dont regularly, and that is the fault of the citizens of this country.

And we are not even talking about the impact of gerrymandering.
try again, i said 30 STATES voted for trump, 60% of the states were won by trump. if only 30% of the country voted for trump, then why is he in the white house now? i suppose that next you are going to say that nearly 70% voted for hillary? who is the one that failed math? certainly not me.
OK then Professor, kindly cite the clause in the Constitution that requires the Senate to vote on a Supreme Court nominee, or any other presidential nominee for that matter.
