Of course. I'm not sure what you mean, since there have been many. I'm won't list all the assassinations or attempts in U.S. history, but Reagan was shot by John Hinckley.
The easiest way for Ms. O'Grady to avoid "taking a bullet for Trump" would be for her to find more suitable employment.

OTOH, wasn't there a scandal when Secret Service agents were caught partying with prostitutes a few years ago? Were they fired?
This woman has made a career limiting, if not career ending, move by making a public spectacle of herself and suggesting, on social media no less, that the Secret Service can't be relied upon to support the President because of an agent's political views.

Probably not. That's the way our government bureaucracies work.
The Secret Service CAN'T find a way to hire agents who understand the basic premise of the job...........but it CAN hire agents who know how to party and get high in Columbia.
