There's poor people in the US that are citizens why not help them before an illegal? Why do you place higher value on an illegal?
I think you may be surprised at which party tried to actually help the poor...Hint- it's not the one fighting to give a tax cut to billionaires at the expense of poor people....
Because the U.S. is the land of opportunity; for those willing to work HARD, acquire education and skills necessary to compete in the work force. The folks I work with understand that. They have been poorer than people in this country can comprehend. They work hard, they scrimp and save, do without, so that they become successful. They aren't the ones complaining that there are no jobs that pay a living wage, they don't complain. They work their asses off to better themselves. That's why.
Companies just view illegals and immigrants as cheap labor..I assure you they don't care about them. That's the only reason they like H1B visas.
The elite has all of you lefties fooled. They could care less about politics or any of your good will they only wish to continue lining their own pockets just like any other businessman.

Instead of building walls why don't the Republicans increase spending on job retraining programs so that these poor downtrodden White folk in the Rust Belt can go to college or a trade school and learn marketable skills for the 21st century?
Look, we all know it's easier to sit around and blame minorities for everything but why not pick yourselves up by the bootstraps? The greatest thing I ever did was get my Associate's degree, right off the bat I have a higher education level than 60% of the population (yeah, only 40% of Americans have any education beyond a high school diploma).

That's a nice notion until you realize illegals are getting In-State tuition rates that the "poor downtrodden White folk" cannot get.
