Considering that 90% of scientists are saying that climate change is real, and the facts that 2014 was the hottest year, only exceeded by 2015, and then by 2016 - yes, climate change is having an immediate effect on the entire planet. But as usual, Trumpettes would never let facts and scientific research get in the way of their beliefs.

The Alt-Nasa and Alt-EPA accounts, among others on Twitter, are now being manned by non-government workers to try to protect the government workers who set them up and tweeted yesterday. Science should never be silenced just because its research results are inconvenient to whoever is in power.

Whenever I hear someone say "global warming is a fraud" or "climate change is a fraud", I usually want to yell at that person "shut up"!!

Why? As someone who has studied geography, I feel that I would be betters schooled on it than some of the persons who are claiming it to be a farce. My thing is this. Keep studying.

I trust a meteorologist, climatologist, and a geographer to inform me about climate change/global warming than President Trump.

sickofnyc - you're fired.
No, he stays put. He actually provides information and backs it up, not like you Trumpeteers and your "alternative facts."

Therefore, you are fired.

They only do so because they lack the frijoles up above and the huevos down below to form an intelligent counter-argument.

Not actually gagging all scientists or the scientific community. Sounds more like some biologists and administrators from talking about government policy.
SHHH!!! Don't let them know that! Remember, every tiny thing Trump does, the agenda is to blow it out of proportion completely because people don't read facts and just read headlines...

given that the qualification for this 'scientist march' are:

Quote:
Who can participate:
Anyone who values empirical science. That's it. That's the only requirement
-someone should go quiz the attendees with some basic science questions and see how many people completely clueless about science show up.

at least they probably won't have thousands of dim-bulbs dressed up as giant hoo-hahs this time.

Do you know they won't know anything about science, or is this your anger/arrogance coming out?

You don't have to be a scientist to support science. I couldn't tell you too much about electrical engineering but I sure am glad there are electrical engineers. I'm no medical doctor either but I'm glad doctors are out there.
