Love it when a weak liberal like the head anchor guy at ABC gets it handed to him.

I have to say even though I didn't vote for either major party candidate, now I see how Trump won the presidency in an electoral vote landslide.

He has perfect communication skills and is one of the best persuaders in all the land.

I was loving Trump's world class communication skills, while listening to ABC liberal David Muir asking question after question and time after time Trump had a brilliant answer. Muir sounded like a college level interviewer at best.

Muir kept trying to entrap Trump an Trump kept refusing to be entrapped.

Every time I have my doubts on Trump, I see his amazing interviews and now see why he is the President of the United States.

I would advise broadening your horizons if you think he has perfect communications. He says a whole lotta stream of consciousness ADD grandiosity nonsense.

I just saw a few clips and Trump's seemingly pathological need to label himself the bestest ever was one of the funniest (and most pathetic) displays I've ever seen from a politician.

Well yeah, to his supporters but not the rest of us. We don't want a liar in chief which is exactly what he is. Muir was trying to get the truth out of him, how was that entrapment.

Wrong.

Quote:
Since the end of World War II, Trump’s percentage of the Electoral College vote is lower than 12 previous results (1948, 1952, 1956, 1964, 1972, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2008 and 2012). By contrast, Trump’s electoral vote haul was bigger than only five elections in the post-World War II era (1960, 1968, 1976, 2000 and 2004). So Trump ranks in the bottom one-third by this metric.

"If Trump’s election was a landslide, then the word ‘landslide’ has no meaning," said University of Denver political scientist Seth Masket.

It was a great interview.

Trump was cool, calm, collected and laid out his priorities.

Muir seemed intent on pinning him down on who knows what. Trump refused to be pinned down unless he wanted to be.

Muir seemed obsessed with the inauguration crowd size BS and the election fraud stuff. Both things he brought up which Trump didn't. Seemed like an attempt at gotcha, but who knows.

In the end, Trump ruled the interview as he laid out his agenda/priorities.

All in all a good interview.

I read the transcript, and I think Trump has lost his mind. He is certainly not fit to govern. But, sure, great interview!

What specifically are you basing your opinion on? Curious minds want to know.

I laughed so hard at the interview. Than I though crap that was real. We are so screwed. Trump didn't give us a coherent actionable platform in sound bites. How onesrth is he going to execute on his vision of it couldn't be articulated in the interview. His fireside chats are going to be a hot mess. In 2018 he is going to still be talking about his landslide inauguration party to distract from all of the horrible policy he is working towards.
