So - are we going to have one conservative with the nerve to criticize deficit spending when Trump does it?

I was a tea bagger before the Tea Party went all crazy right wing religious.

And I will absolutely criticize any deficit spending under Trump the second he spends on anything that is not explicitly directed towards the goal of protecting American citizens from enemies external and internal.

If he does, I will (though I don't really call myself a 'conservative' in the American meaning of the word).

However, my criticism will NOT come at the exact moment he goes one penny over because a lot of balancing has to be done. Spending in one area will be offset by savings and revenue in others. And we also have to see how he measures it too - projected spending (stuff that takes effect in x number of years) versus actual spending and current commitments.

We need to have a bit of patience to see if he can make it all work over time. So please don't start screaming that I lied until some time has passed - that would not be fair to anyone.
