Trump keeps saying he's going to create jobs, but all we're seeing are layoffs and firings. So far it's yet another broken promise by Trump.

You think that Obama "created" the EPA?

Wow, just wow.

Wrong again.

"A vastly underappreciated legacy of Barack Obama’s presidency is one that neither his conservative opponents nor his liberal allies like to mention: He’s presided over a historically unprecedented reduction in government employees."

The CIA may see the same culling, if what has come out is even half true.

They aren't being fired. Cut the fat in the federal government, go Trump!

Having studied them for years there is little they don't know and should be qualified to do some digging.
For years, most were just sitting waiting for a big retirement check!

You actually think we have those things now? You need to get out more! Take a look into "fracking".

Not really. We need Americans to be productive and having worked in Federal Civil Service, ah, it was time.

Yes, reducing the dead weight in the federal government is a good way to compete. Our efforts have to be rechanneled to income producing activities, not taxpayer drain.

I wouldn't count on being able to buy rhino horn powder and dog meat at a local market. Try an Asian market in a big city.

No, glee about reducing deadweight in the federal government. "Don't their kids have to eat, too?" As ICE collect the illegal aliens, jobs will open up. One in every eight white collar jobs is held by an illegal alien. Reducing visas for tech workers will also leave jobs for American citizens.

The "pantries" where people can go for free supplies should also have plenty of items once ICE gets in full swing with deportations.

See things are looking up. Trump has a comprehensive plan. Go Trump!

They would need to follow Reduction-in-Force procedures, some may be laid off but many would be offered jobs in other organizations and it would be seniority based. Government works quite differently than the private sector.

These are across the board cuts, there is always some fat but this doesn't address specifics.

They are getting rid of that "seniority" thing now and the RIF placements, at least where I am, are done on performance ratings.
