You know I read this thread, and the multitude of other ones in the same vein started by a small number of others, and all I can think is, "Damn, and people say Texans are full of themselves".
Look, the ICE agents already exist. The ICE detention facilities already exist. The problem is various CA cities/authorities let illegals go. They're letting federal law violators go. How about we let bank robbers go? Or kidnappers? Or carjackers? Or child pornography violators. Hell, let's just let all federal law violators go. Free for all for everyone! No federal law violator will ever be detained in any sanctuary city, etc. /heavy sarcasm
I really hope they do. That will alleviate substantial debt burdens on the US, we would no longer have to guarantee CA pensions or public sector benefits or subsidize their public colleges, we could move all those govt. contractors to other mfg. areas in the US, and all the illegals and transgenders could go there and hold hands and share the same bathroom. When the big earthquake hits they can deal with it themselves along with the radiation fallout from Fukushima. Lot's of positives for CA leaving.

And all their wealthy tax-generating businesses in the new Mexifornia will quickly want to immigrate to America, so they can have the federal satellite, utility, miliitary, NOAA, border patrol, etc support they can't get in the new Mexifornia.
Plus by keeping their businesses/corporation in Mexifornia, they will have to pay import fees/taxes to do business in America.
No, California has over 10 million foreign born residents and when we factor in their US-born children( people like me whose parents immigrated here in the 1960s), this vast, multigenerational group constitutes a majority of the state population.
Translation: I love it that the corporations can bring in dirt cheap illegal labor and suppress the wages of US workers because it doesn't affect me because I have a good job or some other income not impacted by it.
Now I really can't say THAT, so instead I just call it racism so I can still appear to care about the poor.

I was not aware of this.. but apparently Illegals here who serve sentences in prison when released are supposed to be deported to their home country. The problem is the home country will not let then in and they are flown back here. They are then free to commit another crime here.........
