What an idiotic post. When you assume you....... -- Read your own link. I didn't vote for Trump, but I don't think Trump should be impeached re the Emoluments Clause (Trump having international business interests wasn't a secret at the time of the election), and I'm also not a liberal, a progressive, or a Democrat. However, that doesn't change the fact that you are wrong, and that your own link does a better a better job of supporting the opposite than of supporting what you are trying to support. You either didn't read your own link carefully enough, can't comprehend what you are reading, or just don't care about the truth.

Paragraph 17 from your own link in it's entirety:

While presidents, vice presidents and members of congress were left out of the conflict of interest law, they do remain subject to bans on outright bribery. Trump's foreign investments have also led to scrutiny under a Constitutional provision banning foreign "emoluments", essentially gifts from foreign governments. That clause has no obvious out for Trump but also no evident enforcement mechanism besides impeachment.

You're out of you r mind. His whole candidacy was based on nothing but empathy: empathy for his less-fortunate fellow Americans.

No. There are a lot of less-fortunate Americans who didn't vote for him. He is all about himself and winning. He sits up all night finding out who is against him or who offended him--it's about HIM. Then he sets out to tweet against them or to shut them up. We are all going to see that it's not about the less-fortunate at all. It's about himself.

I think he does have some Republican hangers on who want to ride along on his coat tails. They want to get richer and more powerful so they have become his yes-men. But there's another whole section of the Rep party who feel left out and who disagree with him. Eventually they will turn on him. Then there are the Dems and everyone else who do not like his abuse of power. I predict he'll end up getting impeached sooner or later.

Just another shining example of the loony people the legal field is filled with; won't even give our new President the chance to succeed. The left has an agenda and they will stop to no end to "defeat" Trump.
^^^^^ IMO, one of the reasons this ACTION is loony and ridiculous is because they know that only 435 opinions matter first....those of the members of The House of Representatives. IMO, they are trying to put pressure on the House as a body.

He hijacked the party for the good of the American people. His platform can be summed up in Lincoln's words from the Gettysburg Address: "Government of the people, by the people, for the people." The fact that the Left reacts so violently to this simple and morally imperative doctrine reveals how misanthropic they are.

At what point can a president be impeached if deemed non compos mentis?

The People did not elect him though. The ordinary people didn't know who to vote for because there wasn't a good candidate on either side. So he only won by default. Ordinary people are angry that this snake slithered into office and isn't listening to the people, only doing things to feed his ego. He's doing whatever he wants to do and it if happens to co-incide with what you want, then great. Sometimes it even co-incides with what the rest of the people want but don't fool yourself into thinking he's serving the people. He is out for himself and that's all.

You are confusing empathy with hucksterism and exploitation.

Lol. No they didn't.

But if you actually believe they did and it is not simply the alt-right media manipulating your mind, please provide sources, links and references.

Hard to believe people actually fell for this.

He's a fraudulent billionaire TV goon who lives in a gaudy, gold-covered penthouse and who stocked his cabinet with other billionaires.

Anyone who thinks Trump or his appointees or Congress gives two craps about the average American is a complete simpleminded dupe.
