No basis for it.

My opinion is that it's more likely tRump will call it quits before he would ever submit to impeachment.

He'll spin it as "the media and the Dems have conspired against me!"

His Trumplings will, to the end of their days, repeat that line.

Worse than Watergate.

Worse than Watergate.

Yep, worse than Nixon as Nixon wasn't insane, just paranoid.

Any examples of Trump selling the country off to the highest bidder? Or selling access?

I am not going to fault him for looking out for his interests. Everyone should do that to some extent. But is he compromising the country in the process?

Secretary of the Treasury - Steven Mnuchin (R)
Secretary of Defense - James Mattis (I)
Attobery General - Jeff Session (R)
The fact is that Pence is just as deep into the Comey firing as Trump
Pence was head of the transition team
He knew Flynn was compromised w/o needed the WSJ or Elisha Cumming's letter to tell him that
So Pence WANTED to fire Comey thinking that would close the barn door after the horses were stolen...
He is as much involved in Trump's illegal act in firing Comey to try to stop/impede the Russia investigation as any of the syncophants who are NOT in the line of succession...
Pence is likely not as involved in the money laundering activities that are currently under Grand Jury investigation but he can certainly be caught/compromised in the Flynn debacle--because he KNEW Flynn had been acting as a foreign agent (Turkey/Russia) w/o proper registration and still went along with the cloaking device that no one knew about it and that Pence was "lied to" by Flynn which is the declared reason Trump fired Flynn...
How stupid is that---
Flynn should have been fired for being a foreign agent --which they ALL knew he was...
Just a lie on top of a lie

Orrin Hatch is the only one who might be w/o sin in that bunch of sinners...not that I approve of his political views--but I don't think he is complicit in the prior illegal acts like money laundering or the Russian election hacking...
I am not even sure Mattis can be trusted not to be tainted because of how he is allowing Trump to make stupid mistakes w/his military decisions and then lying to cover up...

Trump will bail. That's his M.O.

Idiots will claim he was framed.

The fact that Trump pushed China to approve his licensing agreements by calling Taiwan's president and acting like he was reconsidering the "one China" foreign policy arrangement then backtracking was specific incident that resulted in Trump corporation being given legal rights to millions of $$ worth of Chinese (and other investors wanting access to China) money doing business in China...
If you don't see how that bait and switch move during his transition shows that he is willing to sell the US's interests down the river to enrich Trump et al over any patriotism factor, then I don't think any proof I offer you would be enough

There will never be anything physical that is a "smoking gun" clarity in this
Trump is insulated by too many layers of security and acolytes who would likely really take a bullet for him
Once people have "drunk the Koolaid" they are rarely likely to tell the truth...
Consider the Manson disciples or James Jones's clan...or Hitler's believers...

One interesting side light--
When Hitler won the power in the National Socialist Party--a year or more before he became Chancellor of Germany--one of the first things he did to consolidate his power was to have a meeting with the strong arm branch of the NSP and require ALL of them to sign and make an oath of loyalty...
The ones who didn't Hitler had killed or they left the country
This is what he wanted from Comey and Comey would not provide--a promise that Comey would ignore anything illegal that compromised Trump and his group--that Comey would protect Trump over the Constitution or America--and Comey would not do that...
So Comey had to go...
This miasma of guilt and treason permeates ALL of those around Trump--in and out of the WH--
Trump has already sold his soul so he has nothing more to lose--and he will do anything (as the proud narcissist he is) to protect what he has...

He fired Comey because Comey would not go along with Trump's claims about Obama wiretapping Trump Tower, because Comey wanted more resources to ramp up the Russia investigation, because the Grand Jury is going to issue a true bill about money laundering claims involving some Trump people and about Flynn's acting as foreign agent and Russia involvement...
All of which put Trump in the wrong--with the law, with the media, and with a growing percentage of Americans
Trump's approval ratings are dropping like an anvil...

He HATES that...it is an emotional reaction that rules out any clear-headed thinking--
Steve Bannon was apparently the only one in the inner circle who questioned the timing of Trump's firing of Comey and thought it was a bad decision...all the other ass-kissers would never have the guts to tell Trump it was a bad decision--not because it was illegal or immoral--but because of MEDIA REACTION....

I think as the heat gets hotter and hotter Trump will be forced in his own warped mind to consider something really drastic trying to recover some measure of power--as the captain of his fate--
And that could involve something like provoking North Korea...

Exactly!

When it gets to the point that he faces impeachment or other hard consequences, he'll resign, claim he has a bone spur in his foot and go into hiding for awhile. That dodge worked well before.

Once he comes out, he'll claim that he was "the greatest president ever!" and his Trumplings will gather 'round him to sing his praises.

Stock up on popcorn.

Worse than Watergate.

That's my expectation too. Once he's had enough, he'll resign and forever whine about how unfairly everyone treated him.

No, at least not yet, one has to have actual cause to do such a thing. Sadly I believe that before all is said and done Trump will in a likelihood give them reason for it, thing is how would he react, accept it or declare Marshal Law and declare himself Emperor. Very sad state of affairs and an awful commentary on where this Nation is now and where it is headed, and our enemies are laughing their arses off.
