Yeah, I'm not sure what is happening right now that makes the Syrians so special. My family was mostly of German and Polish decent. The English came to their farms, asking for help in WW1 and 2. The men agreed, and in payment of that life debt, the English sent the women and children to the USA to be safe, and the men stayed and died fighting beside England.

Obama single handily is the main cause of the Syrian civil war. He also has thousands of drone strikes on under this belt.

I don't want Refugees coming here , and we the american people shouldn't have to take Refugees from Wars that our president started.

Obama starts a war. Displaces millions of people. Then wants us to import Muslim refugees from his mistake.. no sorry Obama , you take them in your neighborhood and live with them.

Can anyone put forth a coherent argument in favor of admitting hordes of refugees that aren't based on the dislike of Trump/conservatives or on kumbaya feelings?
It's un-Constitutional and goes against the foundation of our country, especially since in the past 10 years, not a single Syrian refugee has been charged with terrorism. Meanwhile, those who have committed terrorist acts came from countries that are not banned by Trump, because he has businesses ventures in them.

It's ok, the federal government is already being sued for false detainment at airports, so Trump is about to get smacked down by the courts.

...and the impetus behind this Syrian immigration policy was his attempt to salve his conscience over his foreign policy blunders and let ordinary Americans take the risk

Questions for those in support of this:
Suppose that Hillary had won and we had the Syrian immigrants coming over here to America.

Now let's imagine the odds of one or any of them conducting an act of terror that takes American lives.
Let's further imagine that you somehow could know that this attack would DIRECTLY impact you and your family.

Would you STILL take those odds?
Would you still be in support of Syrian immigration?

If not, why is OK to gamble with the lives of OTHER Americans?

See, two can play at this cheap-appeal-to-sentiment game.

I guess since it's an adult veteran rather than a child and doesn't have just the right photo angle and poetic backdrop as the image you posted, it doesn't tug at the heartstrings quite as much?

Its obvious. Half of Syria is under ISIS control. It wouldn't be hard to infiltrate the refugees as they said they would. They already have infiltrated Europe....

They aren't US citizens...under the Constitution, they are entitled to nothing from us.

Typical Liberal non-sense. Always putting citizens of other countries FIRST before Americans. The democrat party still doesn't know why they lost...

Americans are sick of America putting FOREIGNERS first. Illegals First, Refugees First, Immigrants First....

Typical Democrat non-sense...

Why should some foreign person get to be brought here , put in a free home, and given assistance for free. When we have veterans who have lost limbs fighting for America , sitting on a corner homeless, hungry , and begging????
