I've not seen anything like this on my Facebook feeds. Some of my friends are Trump supporters and I respect it. Although some of them are seeing Trump in a different light. It's okay that we may have different opinions, we are adult about it. That's the way it should be. Anything less is unacceptable. That unfriend or unfollow button is just a click away. Problem solved.

As a liberal, I am angered by these people inciting violence or dressing up in lewd costumes to protest. Why? It discredits the opposition and re-enforces Trump supporters' devotion to him. If you want to have a dialogue, that isn't the way to do it.
I watched a stream of a liberal woman and a conservative man actually having a productive conversation at one of these protest things, they were starting to come to a place of understanding, then the liberals around them started screaming Nazi! at the man and chanting to drown out the conversation. The woman seemed very upset she was not being allowed to converse with the man, and left. They were screaming about not dividing but they totally shut down any attempt at uniting.

1 possible less "lib" level liberal there, that woman sounded seriously pissed at the alt left "libs" around her.

There's also this "Punch a Nazi" thing where people beat up Trump supporters in public.

Needless to say, I am buying a gun.
The specific trend you speak of has nothing to do with Leftist. People have been doing it since social media became a thing and they do it to all people who do things that are deemed wrong.

Its basically the social equivalent of a sex offender notice. I have lately seen conservatives do it more than Liberals, there was even an instance a whole back where some Conservatives were outing gay people the same way.

As for the the violent left. Lets be clear, the right has been threatening to do the same thing for years, seems you are just angry there are some on the left willing to put their beliefs into actions, im not defending it, im just saying dont be a hypocrite.

You've been a prisoner in your home? Not me. I have a job.

There are a lot of politicians on the left and right who have nationalist economic ideals.

I dont know any sitting Senator who has the same views as Nazis when it comes to race and religion, there are a couple of Representatives who have been kicked out lately like Tim Heuslkamp(sp?)
