To prevent the infiltration of people who want to kill something had to be done. It's a cannon shot across the bow to the world the the United States is powerful and won't put up with the acquiescence of muslim countries to the radical factions which produce these monsters who kill. If you think this is "horrible" just wait until the bombs start falling in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and places where these monsters live and train to do innocent people harm. They really do want to kill us, they won't change and they cannot be influenced to be "nicer".

His EA/EO is a law. If they didnt meet the requirement of the law, then they were detained. They came from a place that OBAMAS admin deemed a threat. So, even with their visas, green cards etc, they were detained and vetted further. Problem?
Americans are arrogant. Go travel to the Middle East, Europe, Russia etc etc and see how you feel when they vet you.... We are an open arms country. But we have known threats that liberals dont see as threats because they dont think without emotion. If you would honestly let all refugees from these 7 countries into your house, I applaud you, but they arent welcome into the USA till they prove safe.. Problem with that.
PS, I have been detained at airports due to where I traveled and such. I am a US citizen, born and raised here and have a TS?SCI clearance.
I find very few people on these forums that actually have a knowledge or have done research on what they speak but mainly parrot not only the liberal media but also each other.
The federal judge that made this ruling was appointed by Obama and is a friend of Chuck Schumer. The judge made this stay against section 8 #1152 when in fact the order that was signed by the President was section 8 #1182 so this means nothing.
As soon as Trump heard of the situation he immediately called the TSA at the airport and said these men were free to go at the discretion of the TSA if their papers were indeed valid. Obviously - something was a miss that 1 is still being held. It's not the first time a legal resident has flown overseas professing to be on business or visiting family when in fact - they are attending functions related to terrorism.
And let's not forget personal responsibility - people knew Trump's campaign promises, people knew he won the election, people knew he would take action as soon as he took the pledge - cancel your trips and wait and see what's going to happen.
This is not a permanent ban but a moratorium. These countries were on Obama's Homeland Security watch list as those needing extra vetting due to the problems in those countries. Trump just signed a law giving a time limit to make these vetting processes more secure.
As a refugee fleeing a country due to a fear of persecution fighting or a fear for my family's safety - the last thing I want is to come to a country where those same problems already exist or could follow me. It is in the best interest of this country to increase vetting for everyone's safety - national born citizens, legal immigrants and refugees.
Probably more so than any libs. But trying to write **** would likely have the filters kick in.
Owing to the typical confusion of the lib, I was attempting to make the statement clear enough they could understand on the first pass. I see I was unsuccesful. I usually am when trying to have an intelligent discussion with a lib.
