I was not real big on torture and he ended up appointing Mattis who is against it . He has turned out better than I thought so far.

I didn't vote in this election, but I support whomever is president. I am so sick of people calling for unity when they're the ones being divisive.

Anyway, I am disappointed that the immigration/refugee ban started with NO warning. At least give the poor people a month or two in advance to prepare and for the government to train customs officers and anyone else involved on what to do. President Trump signed it on Friday afternoon and it started on Saturday midnight.

I have never seen a poll where americans dont favor a wall and favor illegal immigration, quite the opposite. If the democrats continue to favor illegal immigration and open borders , they are going to be out of power for a very long time

A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey released Wednesday reveal that 70 percent of likely Republican voters believe the U.S. should build a wall alone the southern border. Just 17 percent of GOP voters disagreed and 13 percent were undecided.

Among all likely voters, 51 percent said they favored building a border wall, with 37 percent disagreeing, and 12 percent who were not sure.

The poll of 1,000 likely voters conducted on August 17-18 also probed voter opinion on whether the U.S. should deport all illegal immigrants convicted of felonies. Ninety-two percent of likely GOP voters agreed, while just 4 percent disagreed.

A recent Quinnipiac poll indicated that 48 percent of the nation approves of "suspending immigration from terror prone regions, even if it means turning away refugees," while 42 percent oppose such a measure.

In contrast, Americans did not agree with Obama’s decision to open the door to more Syrian refugees; at the end of 2015, a Quinnipiac poll revealed that 51 percent of the country stood against the move, while only 43 percent supported it.

Obama’s 2014 executive amnesty for people in the country illegally was similarly unpopular, with an NBC poll showing that 48 percent disapproved of his approach, and only 38 percent supported it.

Forget the hysterical mainstream media -- America likes Trump

This is what change looks like. The establishment doesn't want to give up their perks and the way to do things.

I didn't even vote, wouldn't have mattered in my state. I think people are being ridiculous due to how the media spins stories and has an agenda against him. it has only been a week nothing he is doing should be a surprise to anyone.

The 7 country ban is just temporary and there's still going to be lots of immigrants.

What was the left whining about again? Other than whining still because they lost the election.

I hated Trump. I didn't vote. Hated Hil more, a vote for Hil is a vote to confiscate guns. But Trump is not good as a person and that is putting it cleanly and nicely, so I could not vote for him.

Being that as it may, Trump as Prez has proved to be spectacular. We could not have hoped for better if god had sent him to us. Trump is not perfect, but he is doing the best he can to bring us back from hell. CA may already be lost, but we still have many more states that can be saved.

If Trump ran again and knowing what I know now, I'd put personalities aside and I'd vote for Trump.
