I've met plenty of Iranians
None of them were chanting such.

They're much like people I've met from everywhere around the world. Most of them decent, a couple of *******s and some amazing people.

Honestly, I'd have to say it's been a bit skewed to the positive side.

When I travel I'm more of the backpacker type than the 5-Star Hotel type. More often than not, they're willing to share. So many times Iranians have cooked meals for the entire hostel. Once, in Yerevan, tow Iranian women were there celebrating one of their being accepted into a European university. They'd left Iran because as women, and as Muslims, they couldn't celebrate how they wanted (mostly alcohol and no hijabs). They cooked fantastic meals for 3 or 4 days for the hostel. We went out sightseeing together during the day and partying at night. They were honest about the problems with their country and their government - of which there are many.

So. Who are we to say what Iran's laws should be?

After all, it's our fault that it's no longer a democracy. When it was one, we destroyed it.

So it's kinda lame to start crying about it now.

Women drive.

The number of sex change operations in Iran is second to only Thailand compared to other countries.
Yeah, except the sex change operations in Iran are often forced.

This is what people are talking about when they talk about "snowflakes", right? The slightest negative destroys their fragile structure?

It is actually possible for someone/something that is good to do something bad.
It is possible for the US to be at fault for something and not be the worst place on earth.

Iran damn sure is.

If I said something inaccurate, point it out.

And we both know that you won't be doing that. Put that flag away....it doesn't work on me.
