I have no problem with the immigration ban. But I'd love to see the Oscars cancelled. Why? It would eliminate a platform from which whiney celebrities can b-itch about Trump.

Not going to watch the awards this year because of tantrum babies looking for free publicity.

Yes I know. He said even if an exception was made he wouldn't attend. But the fact is with Trumps ban, he wouldn't be able to come here anyway

I won't watch the Oscars, the sag awards, the golden globes, or any other Hollywood award show. I despise Hollywood liberals. I was invited to parties the last two years to watch the Oscars. I declined. I'd rather watch South Park reruns or go for a run.

That's a flimsy "fact" when it's obvious exceptions will be made. He's choosing not to come because he's standing up for his principles, not because he wouldn't be allowed.

No it is not a flimsy fact. There were no exceptions made when Trump ordered this ban. People and families were sent home before they even got counsel. People with greens cards were detained. And who knows if they have been let in. This was a complete mess by Trump. So no, there were no exceptions. And we still haven't heard what exceptions, if any there are now.

They should cancel all these industry award shows.

I never used to watch award shows, but now I look forward to them. Seriously, I stopped watching talk shows too, but now I tune in just to listen to the monologues. As much as comedians complain about Trump, I'm sure they silently thank their lucky stars he was elected. Making jokes about Hillary would have been much too dull and Trump gives them a lot more material.

We have televideo. Many years, people are too busy to come and that's how they have acceptance speech.
I'm not watching this year. I'm going to throw up if they are giving one more political speech.
